The Roma tomato plant (Solanum lycopersicum) is a determinate, bushy, and compact variety, typically growing 3-4 feet tall, making it ideal for containers or small gardens. It produces high yields of 3-inch, egg-shaped, bright red paste tomatoes that ripen simultaneously, typically 75-85 days after planting. The fruits have thick, meaty walls, low moisture content, and few seeds, making them excellent for sauces, paste, and canning.
