Rio Grande

The Rio Grande tomato is a highly productive, determinate (bush-type) plant, typically growing 2–4 feet tall and ideal for hot, arid climates. It produces large, 4-ounce, blocky, pear-shaped scarlet red fruits in 75–80 days. These heat-tolerant, disease-resistant, and versatile Roma-type tomatoes are excellent for sauces, canning, and paste.
