Pickling Cucumber

The Calypso cucumber is a highly prolific, disease-resistant gynoecious hybrid (F1) that produces uniform, dark green pickling cucumbers (3–4 inches long) in about 50–52 days. Ideal for home gardens and trellising, it is known for high yields, crisp texture, and broad resistance to diseases like mildew and mosaic virus.

Type: Hybrid (F1), Gynoecious (produces mostly female flowers, requiring a pollinator).
Fruit: Medium-dark green with white spines, blocky shape, measuring roughly 3-4 inches long and 1 inch in diameter.
Harvest Time: Early, maturing in 50-55 days.
Disease Resistance: Excellent, with resistance to Angular leaf spot, Anthracnose, Cucumber Mosaic Virus, Downy Mildew, Powdery Mildew, and Scab.
Usage: Best for pickling, but good for fresh eating.
Growth Habit: Vigorous vines, suitable for trellising.
