Osteospermum, commonly known as African Daisy or Cape Daisy, is a genus of tender perennials or subshrubs in the Asteraceae family, prized for their vibrant, daisy-like flowers with central disks. Native to South Africa, these sun-loving plants offer a long blooming season from spring to fall in a wide range of colors—white, purple, pink, and yellow—often with contrasting dark centers. They are ideal for containers, borders, and rock gardens, reaching 1–3 feet in height.
