Begonia - Dragon Wing Series

Dragon Wing begonias are vigorous, cane-forming, tender perennials with a 12- to 18-inch mounded, arching, or trailing habit. They feature large, glossy, 5-inch, wing-shaped leaves and abundant, pendulous clusters of red, pink, or white flowers that bloom from spring until frost without needing deadheading. 
Key Characteristics and Care:
Appearance: They possess a "dragon wing" or "angel wing" leaf shape, with deep green, glossy, and slightly serrated foliage that creates a cascading effect. The plants grow up to 2-3 feet tall and as wide in some environments.
Light Requirements: They are versatile, growing well in part shade to full shade, but can tolerate full sun in many climates.
Maintenance: They are low-maintenance, drought-tolerant once established, and heat-tolerant.
Uses: Ideal for hanging baskets, containers, and, due to their size, as a, "filler" or "thriller" in garden beds.
Cultivars: The original, most popular, and most vigorous form is the red-flowering variety, but pink and white, including bronze-leafed versions, are available.
