'Banana Legs' is a determinate, compact (2–4 ft) bushy tomato plant known for high yields of 4-inch, banana-shaped yellow fruits with light stripes. Featuring a mild, sweet, low-acid flavor and meaty texture with few seeds, these tomatoes are ideal for sauces, salads, and snacking. They mature in 75–80 days. 
Key Characteristics & Characteristics:
Fruit Appearance: Bright yellow, elongated (4 inches long, 1.5 inches diameter), often with a slight nipple at the blossom end and faint stripes.
Plant Type: Compact, bush-type (determinate) plant, reaching 2–4 feet, making it suitable for containers and small gardens.
Flavor & Texture: Low-acid, mild, and sweet. The flesh is very meaty, dense, and pulpy with few seeds.
Usage: Excellent for pastes, sauces, salsas, and fresh eating in salads.
Yield & Growth: Highly productive, often described as covering the plant in "bunches of bananas".
History: Developed by John Swenson in 1984 from lines created by breeder Tom Wagner. 
The plants are known to look somewhat "wispy" or sparse in foliage, but they produce a large, concentrated crop, typically requiring staking to support the heavy fruit load.
